During January, SYUK Cars Ltd took advantage of the bad weather to show sales staff and dealer principals from its expanding SsangYong network, just how good the Rexton 270 is, both on and off-road.
Testing terrain at nine regional sites was chosen to put the Rexton through its paces. Each was designed to use the vehicle’s dual range gears, high articulation suspension and electronic traction control to the full.
Managing Director, Bob Barris attended all of the events and told participants, "Many customers have bought Rexton because of its good looks and high equipment levels, but many prospects also want a vehicle which is a highly capable off-roader. We need to be able to demonstrate Rexton's exceptional performance as a tow car and a serious cross-country vehicle."
As the network continues to expand further off-road driving courses are planned for new dealers, sales staff and indeed customers.
The Rexton range starts at just £16,999. All models offer dual range gears in the 4x4 system and can tow a braked trailer of 3,500 kgs.
