Commenting on these offers, Jeremy Simpson, Head of smart in the UK & Ireland, said: "These offers give even more customers the chance to own and drive a smart and represent excellent value for money."
Reflecting on 2003, he continued, "smart has had another extremely positive year, outperforming most of its competitors in the small car segment. We’re anticipating a strong response in the showrooms in the first quarter of 2004 ahead of the smart forfour launch in the autumn."
A total of 9,744 smart were registered in 2003, a growth in sales of 28.4% on the previous year, and the fourth consecutive year of strong sales growth for the brand.
