Smart London to Brighton Rally

Between 800 and 1000 smart owners took part in the rally (lots of ‘passing’
owners just joined in along the way, making it impossible to give an exact
number).
The day was fantastic, Eastenders star Judy Shekoni started the rally at Alexandra Palace and as the convoy made its way through London, passers by stopped in their tracks to see the visual spectacular – even the taxi drivers and traffic police didn’t complain when hundreds of the little smarts stopped traffic on Park Lane with their carnival of colour, sirens and beeping horns.
Upon arrival in Madeira Drive, Brighton, the participants were greeted
to a barbecue beach party – with music provided by Daimler-Chrysler.
