smart forfour style concept 'hot & tropic'

smart forfour

The latest innovative ideas from smart are transparent, as two new style concept cars are shown for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show.

Called "cool & cosy" and "hot & tropic", the cars were designed to show how plastic body panels in their natural transparent or translucent state can be used on a smart forfour.

The unique body panel concept, used on all smart models in the range, allowed designers at smart to adopt a new approach to the use of materials and colours. The translucent panels used on these style concepts mean the engine and radiator are visible under the bonnet, while tyres and wheel suspensions are on display under the wings.
