smart boasts another major milestone as the 45,000th smart is registered in the UK as the brand celebrates its 5th Anniversary.

The smart phenomenon continues to capture the imagination of owners and enthusiasts as they join in and celebrate at two smart events this summer.

The 5th Anniversary of thesmartclub is being celebrated at The Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon on Sunday 17 July. The event is open to the public and there will be a range of trade stalls, product displays and demonstrations to entertain the crowds.

Five years of smart in the UK is also being commemorated by the, now famous, annual London to Brighton smart run, taking place on Sunday 25 September. In an attempt to top last year’s staggering 2000 participants, smarts from across the UK and Europe will be gathering at Thorpe Park in Surrey. The finish venue will be Brighton Racecourse.

Thesmartclub is the second largest car club in the UK after just five years and has more than 22,000 members.
