How It Looks - Interior

The forfour BRABUS' design-led interior is faithful to smarts philosophy of minimalist fun and offers a combination of aluminium and leather. The gear lever and handbrake lever are BRABUS branded and the dashboard, interior door trim and instrument panel are leather look. Other exclusive touches include BRABUS velour floor mats, speedometer, rev counter, cockpit clock and engine temperature gauge with BRABUS dials, BRABUS silver contrast components and metallic door strips with smart lettering.

The exclusive BRABUS aluminium accelerator and brake pedals are finished with non-slip rubber grips for a sporty finish.

The BRABUS heated black leather sports seats with distinctive silver stitching and headrests embossed with the BRABUS logo are both luxurious and well crafted.

In Car Entertainment and Satellite Navigation

The smart forfour BRABUS is equipped as standard with the smart radio five (radio, CD player including 2 speakers) and smart sound system (6 loud speakers with subwoofer). Various upgrades are available as cost options including Satellite Navigation and provision for telephone installation.

The sound was clear and the system was easy to use (with steering wheel mounted audio controls) but with this amount of power on tap you tend to concentrate on the driving experience.

  • High level of safety equipment
  • Tardis-like interior space
What We Disliked
  • Window switches positioned either side of the handbrake - fiddly to operate
  • Head lights not powerful enough
What We'd Like To See
  • Xenon head lights on the BRABUS model
  • Window switches conventionally located on the door panels
  • An auto-dimming rear view mirror
  • The centre mounted temperature gauge replaced with a boost gauge for the fun of it
