Safety and Security

The following safety & security equipment is standard on the smart forfour BRABUS:

TRIDION safety cell, ESP (electronic stability programme), ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brakeforce distribution), HBA (hydraulic brake assist), all-round disc brakes, ASC (acceleration skid control), differential lock function, Driver and front passenger full-size airbags and side airbags, Collapsible steering column, Front seat belt tensioners & belt-force limiters, Surround light, Front fog lights, Crash elements front and rear, Breakdown kit with compressor, Drive Lock automatic central locking when vehicle is in motion, 2 rear seat belts (3-point seat belts) and Anti-theft alarm system and central locking and immobiliser with key control.

Comfort and Refinement

The heated leather sports seats are both comfortable and supportive. The drivers seat is height adjustable and BRABUS models are equipped with the comfort package as standard which includes a twinface arm rest which rotates to reveal 2 cup holders and adjustable lumbar support for the drivers seat.

The BRABUS four-spoke leather multi-functional sports steering wheel is height adjustable and incorporates a trip computer. The steering wheel is chunky and shaped to mould around your hands with perforated leather grips.

A panoramic glass roof with sunblind is standard on BRABUS models giving the cabin a light and airy feel. We found that even with the blind across the cabin got very hot and the standard air-conditioning with automatic temperature control was particularly welcome. A solid roof is available as a no cost option.

How It Looks - Exterior

The smart forfour BRABUS' exterior styling is subtle but effective in emphasising its high performance credentials. In addition to the 17" BRABUS Monoblock alloy wheels and lowered suspension is an enlarged front spoiler, chrome plated twin sports exhaust, polished stainless steel exhaust deflector, side skirts, front grille with diamond mesh inserts, roof spoiler, monocolour rear lights and if this isn't enough to recognise a BRABUS model the word BRABUS is emblazoned on the rear of the car.

We were disappointed that the BRABUS forfour doesn't feature a BRABUS styled fuel flap.
