Models and Specification
The three equipment specifications have been preserved for the new Skoda Octavia: the Classic, the Ambiente and the Elegance. In addition to equipment items, the individual specification levels can be distinguished by the wheel design, interior design elements and upholstery.
Standard Equipment
Standard equipment for all Skoda Octavia models starting from the basic Classic includes, among other things:
- Four airbags (front and side)
- The ABS system with disc brakes on all wheels
- Central locking
- Three-point seat belts in the rear with pre-tensioners
- Tilt and reach, four-spoke adjustable steering wheel
- Electrically-operated front windows
- Side indicators integrated in the door mirrors
- Electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors
- Aero wipers with timing interval control
- Stereo radio with four speakers and single CD player
- Rear centre seat folding armrest (with luggage compartment access
- Front passenger's airbag deactivation (when a child seat is fitted on the front passenger seat)
- Two ISOFIX fixtures for a child seat on the rear seats
- A warning on the instrument panel when the driver's seat belt is not fastened
- Plastic protection strips on the sides of the car
- Electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors
- Coat hooks on the B pillar
- Remote central locking
- Electric windows front and rear with a bounce-back feature and child safety switches
- Six-CD autochanger
- Climatic air conditioning
- Alarm system with internal monitoring and back-up system
- Onboard computer on the instrument panel
- Tinted glass
- Door mirrors and handles in body colour
- Interior illumination in the front and rear, two reading lamps in the front
- Jumbo Box storage box with armrest, cooled inner space, and air distribution to the rear seats
- Door-not-closed warning on the instrument panel
- Climatronic two-zone electronic air conditioning
- Fog lamps integrated into the front bumper
- Orion 16" alloy wheels
- Remote-control central locking with folding key
- Heated door mirrors with lights that illuminate the door area
- Cruise control
- Rear parking sensors
- Auto-dimming rear-view and side mirrors and rain-sensor aero-wipers
- Eight speaker stereo, four in the front door panels and four in the rear doors with 6-CD changer
