Savvy New Skoda Website

Published: 19th February 2004

Škoda’s new-look website launches today and promises to offer the consumer a more complete research experience. The first in a number of stages of online development has resulted in a fully-integrated site which can deliver a host of new features to consumer and fleet buyer alike.

www.skoda.co.uk offers potential customers an easy-to-navigate browsing experience and access to detailed information for those looking to buy new or used cars before choosing to order a brochure, request a test drive and obtain specific data in the ‘My Škoda’ section.

The site offers more photos, current offers, product information and vehicle reports than ever before and can also offer interactive features such as the car calculator, retailer contact and pricing.

With more than 40,000 visits per month and with an average visit time of five minutes the new look www.skoda.co.uk reflects the recent positioning of the brand as ‘the savvy choice for individuals with nothing to prove’, promoting the brand to prospects and offering a special section for existing owners.

Škoda’s Communications Manager Lindsey Bain said: " An online survey conducted on the site last summer helped to identify key areas for improvement. The new site is better equipped to meet the modern surfer’s expectations by delivering information in a logical, efficient manner. By using the latest technology we believe we have achieved that objective."
