Draper Tools Choose Skoda For The Job

Published: 7th September 2004
Draper Tools, the well-known suppliers of a wide variety of tools, are in the process of updating their fleet of vehicles with the addition of an initial quantity of nine new Skodas.

Thanks to an arrangement with Freeborn Skoda in Southampton, Draper Tools, the long-established Chandlers Ford-based family firm will soon have their new cars travelling the length and breadth of the country as they go about their ever-expanding business.

Paul Hyans, one of the Fleet Sales team from Freeborn Skoda first met the Sales Director of Draper Tools, Terry Cornwall, a number of years ago and has always kept in touch. It was through this contact that the order for seven Octavia Ambiente 1.9 TDI hatchbacks, an Octavia Estate and a Superb Comfort 1.9 TDI 130 saloon was placed. The first two cars were delivered in June, while the balance will be pressed into service during the next three months.

Drapers’ reputation for high-quality obviously extends further than merely to their own products and Skoda is delighted to be associated with such a well-respected company.

Skoda Head of Business Sales John Rooney is delighted with the arrangement. "Draper Tools are a fine example of the smaller and medium businesses that we value so highly. They understand the value that Skoda’s exceptional products can add to their business, and we welcome them as a customer."
