Škoda owners love their cars. They love them so much that they would recommend them to friends, as the results of a recent survey by the Consumer Association's Which? magazine reveal.
In a poll of 33,000 magazine readers, two Škoda cars were in the Top Ten of the most popular cars in Britain. The mid-sized Škoda Octavia was third, with 90 per cent of respondents saying they would suggest the model to a friend, while the Škoda Fabia came tenth with 86 per cent.
The results are further proof of Škoda's phenomenal turnaround. Since the launch in 2000 of a multi-award winning, comprehensive marketing campaign that acknowledged and overcame previous consumer brand perceptions, Škoda's sales have consistently risen by 20-30 per cent annually.
The Which? survey demonstrates that Škoda owners themselves are helping to spread the message. And drivers across the UK are finding out what Škoda owners already know - that Škoda offers excellent value and quality is becoming the choice of savvy buyers across the UK.Published 9 October 2003
