The all new Skoda Superb Estate is now available to order with the first cars arriving in September 2015.
It follows on from the release of the hatchback with the added benefit of nearly 2,000 litres of cargo holding potential which is best in class.
Worldwide the Superb Estate has reached over 200,000 sales since 2009 which is around 35 per cent of total Superb inventory.
The new model is based on the MQB platform shared amongst the Volkswagen group of companies, and used on the likes of the new Leon, Golf and Octavia.
The wheelbase of the new model has increased by 80mm to 2,841mm with the track increased to 1,584mm front and 1,572mm rear which equates to more interior space for all. The headroom for all occupants is increased, rear knee room extended along with elbow room.
Over the predecessor there is a 27 litre increase in boot space at 660 litres with the rear seats in place, fold them down and this increases to 1,950 litres.
All engines are now EU6 complaint and there are efficiency dividends of up to 30 per cent over the outgoing model.
On the tech front there is the latest gadgetry including smartphone connectivity entitled SmartLink including MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto technology there is even the option of creating WI-FI hot spot.Published 1 June 2015
