The fastest and most powerful production vehicle ever made by Skoda is one step closer to our shores. Due to arrive at the end of the year, the Skoda Octavia vRS hatch has a 0-62mph of just 7.3 seconds and maximum speed of 149mph. Torque from the 2.0 TFSI 200bhp turbo direct injection engine is an impressive 280Nm at 1800 to 5000 rpm.
Available in hatch and estate versions, the estate can achieve 0-62mph in 7.5 seconds and a maximum speed of 148mph.
The new Skoda Octavia vRS will make its first world public appearance at this year’s International Motor Show in Frankfurt (IAA) on 12th September.
Following in the cult footsteps of the current Octavia vRS, this new vRS will be offered in a limited range of colours, comprised of a new colour, Race Blue metallic, Sprint Yellow, Corrida Red, Diamond Silver metallic and Black Magic pearl effect.
