Uniter Group Chooses Skoda Octavia

Essex-based Uniter Group has recently taken delivery of 26 Skoda Octavia 1.9TDI Ambiente Estates for their nation-wide team of field engineers. Travelling an average of 33,000 miles a year each, the engineers chose Octavia for its comfort, durability and value.
Uniter Group is an independent technical support company providing field-engineering support, through approximately 100 engineers, for electronic office equipment such as printers, fax machines and photocopiers.
Uniter Group’s Managing Director Carlo Jawed commented, "We were looking for value-for-money and quality - an image we portray as a group - and Skoda loaned me a Superb for me to show our employees, customers and suppliers. Obviously, when a company’s senior management is driving a certain type of car, it sends out a strong signal as to their confidence in the brand."
James Richardson, of Skoda Business Sales, set up the arrangement with the supplying retailer, AE Witham and Sons. "Uniter Group is a very switched-on, professional company and has a good eye for value.
We were able to deliver the cars in batches and are hopeful that they will take some more vehicles next year when the new Octavia Estate is available."
The Skoda Octavia Ambiente has bags of Skoda’s legendary great value as standard. In addition, standard features include air conditioning, front and rear electric windows, remote central locking and a six-CD autochanger. Octavia’s carrying capacity is another great standard feature. With 528 litres with the rear seats in place, Uniter Group’s engineers will have plenty of room for their equipment and supplies.
The Octavia 1.9 TDI Estate is part of the Skoda family that includes the supermini Fabia, Skoda’s sporty vRS models and top-of-the range Superb. All provide Skoda’s "extra bit of car" and the customer service that earned Skoda and its retailers second place overall in both the 2004 J.D. Power Survey of Customer Satisfaction and the newly-released Top Gear Customer Satisfaction Survey.
