SEAT At The Johnny Herbert Rockingham Experience

Wannabe racing drivers practising their skills at the Johnny Herbert Rockingham Experience, will be learning the tricks of the trade in SEAT cars. As an official vehicle partner to the UK’s fastest racing school SEAT has supplied a fleet of 140 mph 180 bhp Ibiza Cupra R’s to provide the "touring car" experience. In addition, two specially prepared SEAT Toledos will hone drivers’ skills on the skid pan. SEAT joins JHRE’s other vehicle partners with illustrious sporting pedigrees such as Lotus, Westfield, AC Cobra and Ferrari.

The Johnny Herbert Rockingham Experience, based at the Rockingham Circuit in Northamptonshire, offers the complete driving experience including F1 driving techniques, single seater driving, pit stop challenge and high speed passenger rides on the famous Oval circuit. But it is the touring car experience where the SEAT Ibiza Cupra R’s come into their own, performing on the International Infield Circuit’s challenging combination of high speed and technical slow speed corners. This circuit really tests the mettle as the driver learns to balance the car whilst pushing it to its limits – all under the watchful eye and guidance of one of the JHRE’s ARDS qualified instructors.

The Johnny Herbert Rockingham Experience official opening is 11 May.
