SEAT Toledo
SEAT UK has announced its pricing and specifications for the 2006 model year Toledo applicable from the 1 August 2005. The new pricing structure and model range makes the Toledo even better value and more competitive than before.
The SEAT Toledo shares many of its attributes with the SEAT Altea including its engines, sporty driving characteristics and innovative styling, but offers much more in the way of luggage load with a boot capacity of 500 litres. The Toledo comes in three specifications, Reference, Stylance and Sport.
Toledo Reference has a choice of 1.6 petrol or 1.9 TDI engine and comes with air conditioning, front electric windows, radio/CD player, front, side and curtain airbags, ABS, TCS, ISOFIX child seat mountings, height and reach adjustable steering wheel, height adjustable driver’s seat and digital clock. The new on the road prices for Toledo Reference are £12,495 and £13,495 for the petrol and diesel respectively.
Toledo Stylance comes with the same choice of engines as Reference, but gains plenty of extra equipment. Alloy wheels, cruise control, trip computer, front fog lights, electrically adjustable door mirrors with park facility, two-zone climate control, rear electric windows, steering wheel controls for the radio and illuminated mirrors on the driver and passenger sun visors are just some. The passenger seat is also height and lumbar adjustable. Prices are £13,495 for the 1.6 and £14,495 for the 1.9 TDI.
Top of the range Toledo Sport comes with the two most powerful engines available, the 2.0 litre 150 PS FSI petrol and the 2.0 140 PS TDI both linked to a six-speed manual gearbox or with a choice of automatic gearboxes in the form of Tiptronic for the petrol or DSG for the TDI. In keeping with the sporty character of the car, extra equipment over Stylance includes alloy wheels, ESP, EBA, sports suspension and sports seats. Prices for the Toledo Sport 2.0 FSI are £16,295 with a six-speed manual gearbox, £17,195 with Tiptronic, £16,995 for the 2.0 TDI and £17,895 with the DSG gearbox.
All Altea and Toledo pricing is on the road including VAT, first registration fee and plates, one year’s road tax, three-year/60000 miles mechanical warranty, 12-year body protection warranty and two years’ SEAT Service Mobility roadside assistance valid in over 30 countries.
