Hot on the heels of its most successful sales quarter in the UK SEAT is revealing details of what must surely be one of the most attractive offers in its 25-year history here.
The simple, straightforward message is this: buy one of a number of selected new SEAT models and you'll pay no VAT.
The exceptional deal, which amounts to a discount of 17.5% off the basic price of a raft of sporty new SEATs, has been calculated to cement the Spanish brand's formidable success thus far this year.
With the September 2010 numbers now firmly crunched SEAT is celebrating an outstanding 1.61% share of this important month's market, a performance which contributed to the Brand's all-time record 1.68% market share for the three months to October.
Despite the continued uncertain economic climate that share is SEAT's best for any quarter in its 25-year history here, and signals more clearly than ever that the Spanish car maker is set fair for continued strong growth in the UK.
As ever, of course, the push for sales growth doesn't stop and with the latest attractive deal there's now more reason than ever to consider a new SEAT.
The details couldn't be more simple. All qualifying vehicles are eligible for a discount equivalent to the VAT shown in the price list. That means 17.5% off the basic price of the car and any factory-fitted options.
For example, the offer as applied to a new SEAT Leon 1.4 TSI Sport with optional metallic paint and Media Pack would be:
|Basic price||VAT||Recommended retail price|
|Leon 1.4 TSI Sport||£14,365.96||£2,514.04||£16,880|
|Offer price OTR||£15,545.96|
Qualifying cars include all SEAT Ibiza SC and SEAT Ibiza 5dr models - with the exception of the Cupra and Cupra Bocanegra; all SEAT Ibiza ST models; SEAT Leon S, S Emocion, SE and Sport derivatives; all SEAT Altea and SEAT Altea XL versions including the frugal new Ecomotive; and all SEAT Exeo and SEAT Exeo ST variants with the exception of SE Tech and Sport Tech cars.
The headline-grabbing retail campaign is also available for local small business sales (conditions apply) and relates to qualifying cars ordered and handed over at participating SEAT dealers between now and 31st December 2010.
Welcoming the arrival of the new offers SEAT UK Head of Marketing Steve Robertson said: "With the VAT increase coming early next year there really has never been a better time to take advantage of this terrific offer.
"Simple, straightforward and extremely attractive this generous incentive should put SEAT at the very top of new car buyers' lists."Published 7 October 2010
