SEAT Ibiza Review
Since its introduction over 20 years ago, over 160,000 Ibiza's have been sold in the UK and it is SEAT's best selling model to date.
The new generation SEAT Ibiza was released in the UK in April 2006 and features enhanced styling, better equipment and a revised model line-up over the outgoing model.
Hopefully, it will build on the reputation of it’s predecessors that were awarded the title of ‘Best Supermini of the Year’ by What Car? from 2003 to 2005. In 2003 the Ibiza also won the magazine’s ‘Car of the Year’ award.
The line up starts with a 64 PS, 1.2 litre petrol engine and goes through to a 180 PS 1.8 litre, 20V petrol engine. For the fuel conscious buyer there are 2 diesel engines a 1.4 litre TDI 80 PS and a 1.9 litre TDI with three power outputs: 100 PS, 130 PS & 160 PS.
Prices start at £7,545 for the 1.2 litre petrol Reference and rise to £15,370 for the 1.9 TDI PD Cupra the most powerful diesel supermini on the market.
