Saab 9-3 Sport Saloon Voted Chinese Import Car Of The Year

The Saab 9-3 Sport Saloon has today
been voted the Chinese Import Car of the Year. At a ceremony at the
Guangzhou Auto Show, in the Guangdong province of South Eastern China,
the Saab 9-3 was praised for its extraordinary quality, safety and
fun to drive chassis.
Since its official launch into the expanding Chinese new car market in April this year, Saab has sold over 200 new 9-3 Sport Saloons. Saab’s Chinese model range will be extended in 2005 with the introduction of the stylish 9-3 Convertible, and the proven 9-5 range, and sales are forecast to grow substantially.
Saab’s Far East business development manager, Pontus Haggstrom says; "Chinese interest in the Saab brand is growing, and this Car of the Year award will help us generate even greater awareness in this important market."
