A record number of British new car buyers elected Saab as their favoured premium brand choice in April 2005.
Saab maintained its spectacular sales growth in the month, achieving a record overall market share of 1.25 per cent, the highest for the Swedish premium marque since UK sales began in late 1960.
Saab’s April sales, at 2,244 cars, were over 45 per cent higher than the same month last year. Year to date Saab sales have increased 41 per cent, to 8,847, retaining its status as the fastest growing premium brand in the UK car market.
Saab Great Britain Managing Director Jonathan Nash said today: "British interest in Saab continues to grow, with an increasing number of first time Saab buyers now beginning to appreciate just what they’ve been missing for many years."
