Rolls Royce Wraith (2013)

Rolls Royce has announced their most powerful car in their 107 year history – the Wraith has been billed as the ultimate Gran Turismo. The Wraith is named after a famous French cove where Sir Henry Royce and his design and engineering teams spent their winters.

The Rolls Royce Wraith is powered by a V12 petrol engine with an 8-Speed automatic transmission – it produces 642 bhp / 800 Nm of torque which equates to 0 – 60 mph time of 4.4 seconds.

The suspension has been tuned to ensure the Wraith has a spirited drive, yet retaining the air like ride quality.

It utilises the latest technology and advances in telematics to provide systems like head-up display, adaptive headlights and Wraith’s keyless opening boot. It uses a Satellite Aided Transmission system to anticipate the correct gear for the terrain ahead. Corners, motorway junctions and roundabouts are all anticipated in advance meaning Wraith is constantly poised to deliver on its promise of performance.

The Rolls Royce Wraith is priced at €245,000 with the first deliveries expected towards the end of 2013. We will have UK prices shortly and specifications.
