Wallace And Gromit Invent The 'Kangoo-matic'

So why did Aardman, the production company responsible for Wallace & Gromit pick Renault for the pairs first ad? "It’s rare that we find a commercial partner that works well with Wallace and Gromit. The Renault script was similar to one of our Cracking Contraptions films, so the creative fit was obvious. If Wallace was to buy a new car, the New Kangoo would be top of his list," commented Heather Wright of Aardman.

Jonathan Wignall, National Advertising Manager at Renault UK "The new Renault Kangoo is practical, fun and quirky all at the same time – something fans of Wallace and Gromit can relate to, and we hope many other potential customers who visit the cinema this summer."

Fans not planning to get to the cinema over the summer can also see Wallace and Gromit ‘Kangoo-matic’ on the Kangoo page of the Renault website www.renault.co.uk.

Now on sale, the New Renault Kangoo boosts standard equipment levels, new trims, improved driver and passenger comfort - through enhanced accommodation and noise insulation - and more obviously brings new levels of style to the class through a new dynamic frontal design.

Available in two trim levels – Authentique and Expression – and a choice of three engines – 75bhp 1.2 16V and 95bhp 1.6 16V Auto petrol and 65bhp 1.5dCi common-rail diesel units – on-the-road prices for the New Renault Kangoo start at £9,105.
