The new customer support centre can handle the whole search process for the customer over the telephone and the only contact with the dealer is when the car is delivered, so ideal for people with an aversion to both the internet and car dealers!
As with Renault To Go Online, the support centre will arrange for the car to be delivered from the central preparation centre to any Renault Dealer and there is no obligation to buy the car. A Recommended Retail price is advertised but final negotiations regarding price, finance options and the value of any car traded-in, is handled by the dealer.
Reserve your “exclusive” Renault
Previously the website only showed cars that were available for purchase immediately, whereas the support centre will be able to search cars that are still being prepared for sale or still be used by Renault UK allowing a reservation to be put on that car for when it becomes available.
This is particularly useful if a specific colour, specification or model is wanted that is unusual. Perhaps a Mégane Sport Hatch 2.0 16V is what’s required but only one with the options of leather upholstery, heated seats, xenon headlamps and cruise control – a rare beast but one that the support centre could locate. Or perhaps the Clio Renaultsport V6 255 or a Mégane Coupe-Cabriolet has taken your fancy but you don’t want to wait several months for delivery of a new one – Renault To Go is the only place where all Renault UK’s company cars are sold.
