The 2003 Scenic Range

Three models feature in the Sport Collection – Dynamique, Fidji and Dynamique Plus. Available with three petrol engines - 110bhp 1.6 16V (manual and automatic), 120bhp 1.8 16V and the powerful 140bhp 2.0 16V (manual and automatic) - and one diesel unit - the 105bhp 1.9dCi common-rail diesel engine (manual and automatic) - the Dynamique model adds the following standard equipment on top of the Expression model including:
Part leather part cloth upholstery, 15-inch alloy wheels (16-inch on the 2.0 16V), climate control, heat reflecting windscreen, electric rear windows, height adjustable passenger seat, front central armrest, and leather steering wheel and gear knob covering.
The Fidji special edition is available with the complete range of Scénic engines - 95bhp 1.4 16V, 110bhp 1.6 16V (manual and automatic), 120bhp 1.8 16V and the powerful 140bhp 2.0 16V (manual and automatic) - plus both diesel units - the 80bhp 1.9dTi and the 105bhp 1.9dCi common-rail diesel engine (manual and automatic).
On top of the Dynamique specification, Fidji offers the following
standard equipment:
Opening rear tailgate window, Manual air conditioning in lieu
of climate control, 60Watt single CD/radio Hi-Fi, 16-inch
alloy wheels, perforated leather steering wheel, alcantara
gear stick gaiter, alcantara/cloth upholstery, copper on grey
instrument dials (except automatic and 1.9dTi), copper finish
on gear knob, hand brake button, electric window buttons,
and seat adjustment levers, plus black surround on headlamps.
The Dynamique Plus model adds 60W Multi-CD Radio Cassette with six speakers and fingertip remote control, two electric tilt and slide sunroofs climate control and heat reflecting windscreen.
The Elegance Collection
Providing that added touch of luxury to the 2003 Scénic
range, the Elegance collection also comprises three models
- Privilège, Privilège Plus and Privilège
Monaco.
Available with the more powerful engines of 110bhp 1.6 16V (manual and automatic), 120bhp 1.8 16V and the 140bhp 2.0 16V (manual and automatic) - and one diesel unit - the 105bhp 1.9dCi common-rail diesel engine (manual and automatic), the Privilège adds CAT1 Alarm, roofbars, and pre-telephone equipment on top of standard equipment of the Dynamique model.
Privilège Plus offers the same engine and transmission
line-up and adds the following standard equipment:
60W Multi-CD Radio Hi-Fi with six speakers and fingertip remote
control, two electric tilt and slide sunroofs and an opening
tailgate window, equipment worth £950, but only costing
£600 to the customer.
The top of the range Scénic in the Elegance range is the Privilége Monaco which adds leather upholstery.
The 2003 Scénic range also offers a comprehensive selection of options including:
- Michelin PAX system which allows a Scénic with a puncture to safely travel 125 miles at a constant 50mph. This package includes ESP Electronic stability programme and tyre pressure monitors. Renault is the first major manufacturer to offer the Michelin PAX system as an option to UK customers
- Multi-CD changer, climate control, ESP, tyre pressure
monitor, two manual sunroofs or two electric tilt and slide
sunroofs, and Turn by turn satellite navigation system
