Six months after the successful launch of its Renault Premier Centre (RPC) programme marketing new top-of-the-range cars Avantime and Vel Satis, Renault UK has announced the second wave of dealers to obtain Premier Centre status. Broadening the availability of Premier Centres across the UK, 24 new dealers will now sell Renault’s top-of-the-range models, making a total of 55 RPCs now open.

In addition, New Espace and New Clio Renaultsport V6 255 will be sold alongside Vel Satis and Avantime through the RPC network when they go on sale in 2003.

Aims Of The Premier Centre Programme

Right from the start of the project to establish Premier Centres across the UK, Renault consulted the people who knew best about executive customers’ expectations - the prospective customers themselves.

What Renault found was that the level of service delivered by a Renault Premier Centre must match that of the best and exceed that of most of its rivals while offering a tangible difference. In this way Renault will retain current customers and attract new ones, resulting in an increased dealer profitability.

So Renault UK has defined the standards every Premier Centre must meet - from details like the materials used for showroom vehicle displays and crockery and glassware used for customer refreshments to the important items such as the provision of demonstration vehicles and minimum response times to customer enquiries.

The Renault Premier Centre Experience

The Renault Premier Centre Experience begins the moment a prospective customer visits a Premier Centre or makes contact with Renault to inquire about its top-of-the-range cars. Far from ending when the customer drives off the forecourt in his or her new top-of-the-range Renault, this ‘experience’ can last as long as the customer has their Renault, either directly through the dealer or with Renault UK’s central Premier product customer service department.
