The biggest engine and transmission choice is available on the Dynamique model – which Renault expects to be the most popular variant – with seven versions. One new engine – the 136bhp 2.0 16V VVT petrol - is added featuring both the six-speed manual transmission and four-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift manual override.
The following standard equipment is added to the Dynamique:
16-inch ‘Nervastella’ alloy wheels, satin chrome door handles, insurance approved CAT1 alarm, leather steering wheel and gear knob, and ‘Laser’ charcoal grey cloth upholstery with grey piping.
Dymanique also offers four option packs – Climate, Handling, Convenience and Comfort – plus the following individual options:
17-inch ‘Nervasport’ alloy wheels, cruise control with speed limiter, leather upholstery, Bi-Xenon double optic headlamps, automatic unlocking and ignition with hands-free Renault Card and electrically folding door mirrors, Carminat turn by turn navigation, opening tailgate window, parking proximity sensor, sliding centre storage unit, heated front seats, climate control with heat reflecting windscreen, underseat mounted six CD multichanger, panoramic sunroof, ESP traction control and CSV understeer control, tyre pressure monitor, metallic paint, baggage net and pre-telephone equipment.

The top-of-the-range Scénic is the Privilège, which is available with the three most powerful engines – 115bhp 1.6 16V VVT, 136bhp 2.0 16V VVT and 120bhp 1.9dCi – with four-speed automatic and six-speed manual transmissions.
Privilège adds the following standard equipment:
Automatic unlocking and ignition with Hands-Free Renault Card, sliding centre storage unit, 16-inch Reinastella alloy wheels, 60 Watt underseat mounted six CD multichanger and RDS Radio with six speakers and fingertip remote control, ‘Wicker’ Beige part leather/part cloth upholstery, electrically folding door mirrors, driver’s sunglasses holder, illuminated vanity mirrors.
