New Scenic On Sale From 1st August
Published: 20th July 2003
New Scénic is the latest interpretation of Renault’s stunning new design philosophy, most recently seen on the New Mégane Hatch and Sport Hatch and Espace.
Far from looking like an inflated family hatchback or a van with windows, the New Scénic’s dynamic, stylish silhouette, with its powerful, expressive design makes this car one that its owner will be proud to buy, own and drive. This has not always been the story for other compact-MPVs in the past which saw owners seeing them as a necessary evil, not bought for style or design reasons.
New Renault Scénic trim levels
When it appears in showrooms in September, the New Scénic will be available in four trim levels – Authentique, Expression, Dynamique and Privilège. This allows for a reduction of the number of versions – from 65 down to 20 at launch – making selection of the best model for the job easier.
In addition to the class-leading levels of standard equipment available on each model, Renault offers its customers two ways of choosing options on their New Mégane – either individually, or in five handy packs - Climate, Handling, Comfort, Convenience and Luxury - that in themselves guarantee to put money back in the buyer’s pocket.
Core features available on every New Scénic
Every New Scénic comes with a substantial level of core features ensuring the comfort, safety and security of its drivers and passengers. Driver comfort is enhanced by:
Double optic headlamps with ‘See me home’ function – allowing headlamps to remain on after the car is locked to light the way to the owner’s front door at night – visual warning system which shows messages on a screen in the instrument display, Renault Card for remote central locking and ignition, F1-style integrated fuel filler cap – meaning that the cap is attached to the flap, variable power-assisted steering, height adjustable driver’s seat, five height-adjustable headrests, reach and rake adjustable steering wheel and trip computer.
