New Renault Kangoo Brings Fun And Design Flair To Multi-Activity Sector
Published: 6th May 2003
The New Renault Kangoo’s design features smooth elliptical headlamps, rising high in the wings, a plunging bonnet highlighted by a central crease, new body-coloured bumpers on the Expression trim level plus a front grille with horizontal slats – design features that echo the new family face of all other Renault cars.
To provide better protection for the bodywork against minor impacts, a more enveloping moulding surrounds the rear doors and wide protective strips run along the sides - a design combining rugged good looks with practicality.
Externally, New Kangoo also features new alloy wheel or hub-cap designs dependant on trim level. Inside there is a new design of seat fabric, additional seat bolstering for occupants, as well as the introduction, as standard, of an overhead parcel shelf and aircraft-style lockers on the Expression trim level.
Two Trim Levels, Two Transmissions And Three Engines Offer Maximum Flexibility
The New Renault Kangoo will be available in two trim levels – Authentique and Expression – boosting standard equipment levels over the new car’s predecessor.
Every New Kangoo features the following core equipment levels of driving comfort, versatility, safety and security:
Driving comfort and versatility:
Power-assisted steering, tinted windows, twin sliding side doors with opening windows, split-folding rear seat, rubber-covered boot, three height-adjustable rear headrests plus a map pocket on the rear of the front passenger’s seat.
Safety and Security:
