New Renault Kangoo Brings Fun And Design Flair To Multi-Activity Sector

Published: 6th May 2003
New Renault Kangoo

Building on the success and heritage of the Renault 4, the Kangoo was introduced onto the UK market in 1999 as a fun, utilitarian, roomy, and cost-effective family car. By the end of 2002 this utilitarian approach had proved popular in the UK with a total of 10,818 Kangoos sold. Approximately 55% of these were sold to the fleet market where small-business users found Kangoo suited their lifestyle needs, using it for transporting goods during the week and as family transport at the weekend.

After four very successful years in the UK, the Kangoo has a fresh look. Now on sale, the New Renault Kangoo boosts standard equipment levels, new trims, improved driver and passenger comfort - through enhanced accommodation and noise insulation - and more obviously brings new levels of style to the class through a new dynamic frontal design.

  • New frontal styling gives New Kangoo Renault ‘family’ face. Rear light clusters also restyled.
  • Improved levels of standard equipment available on two trim levels – Authentique and Expression.
  • Improved standard safety equipment.
  • Improved driver and passenger comfort, with enhanced accommodation and noise insulation.
  • Strong choice of diesel and petrol engines.
  • On sale now.
  • Prices start at £9,100 on-the-road.
