The New Clio Rush is based on the existing entry-level Authentique version and is aimed at Clio fans looking for something ‘chic and cheerful’ at the lowest price possible. A guaranteed customer saving of £1,200 is available when purchased on Renault Selections. Standard equipment includes ABS with EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution), 2 x 15W RDS radio cassette with four speakers and remote control, electric front windows and electric power assisted steering. In addition to this core equipment, the Rush has four additional features as standard:
- Specific light grey "Astramix" upholstery with light grey dashboard inserts
- Height adjustable driver’s seat
- 60: 40 split folding rear seat
- Three height adjustable rear headrests
Customers can also choose from four options including 2 x 15W RDS radio/ single CD player at £100, manual tilt/ slide glass sunroof at £200, pre-telephone equipment at £100 and Metallic paint at £325.
Choice of engines for Rush
Rush is available in both three and five door versions and customers can choose from either a petrol engine, 1.2 8V 60 hp, or the popular diesel engine, 1.5 dCi 65 hp. The insurance groups for New Clio Rush are 2E for the 1.2 and 3E for the 1.5 dCi engine.
The 1.2 8V 60 hp petrol engine offers 60 hp at 5,250 rpm delivering a maximum torque of 93 Nm at 2,500 rpm. With a combined mpg figure of 47.1, the Clio Rush achieves a CO² of 143 g/km. The 1.5 dCi 65 hp offers 65 hp at 4,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 160 Nm at 2,000 rpm and a combined mpg of 65.7 and a CO2 of 115 g/km.
Available in six colours, one new colour
The colours for New Clio Rush have been limited to six colours, one non-metallic - Royal Blue - and six metallic, which are Pearl Black, Nordic Green, Flame Red, Cyclone Blue and the new colour Mercury, which is a silver metallic illusion.
