The New Renault Twingo will be launched on the 1st February 2012, although it has gone on sale from £ 10,350 for the Twingo Dynamique 1.2 16V 75.
The New Twingo is powered by a 1.2 16V 75 engine – Renault are quoting 55.4 mpg in the combined cycle with CO2 emissions of 119g/km, which means £0 VED (Car Tax) for the first year (£30 from year two).
The New Renault Twingo can be customised to your preferences with a choice of eight different alloy wheel options, nine body colours and there is a collection of five different roof decals. Customers can also choose different colours for the door mirrors and tips of the protective side mouldings, with colours which contrast with the main body colour.
The audio system in New Twingo is also new with Bluetooth functionality, together with audio streaming with USB connectivity as standard (from March 2012). This makes it easy to play digital music and the audio system can also be used as a docking station for the latest-generation iPhone and iPod Touch
An iPod-compatible radio is also available as an accessory for £235. Theudio system equally enables the use of GPS navigation through an app developed by Renault, which can also analyse the driver’s eco-performance in real time. By providing tips to keep fuel consumption down, the system helps save up to 10 per cent fuel in a practical way.
Other options include climate control and an electric panoramic sunroof (with an electrically operated fabric version available from April 2012)
Currently all New Twingos are eligible for the Renault 4+ programme which is worth £900. The package offers all retail buyers - a comprehensive four-year/100,000 mile warranty, free routine servicing for four years/48,000 miles, four years roadside cover and up to four years finance (lease or PCP, subject to status).
Test drives are available at most Renault Dealers now ahead of the February 2012 launch.Published 19 January 2012
