As the UK’s largest independent combined wholesaler and distributor of books, audio, video, multimedia and computer games, Total Home Entertainment (THE) needed cars that are reliable, comfortable and stylish for its field sales team to cruise the UK in style. When it comes to style, no-one does it better than Renault so what else could THE choose for its fleet but the Megane Sport Tourer, Megane Sport Saloon, Scenic and Clio?
Total Home Entertainment has added a total of 43 Renault vehicles to its fleet; 29 Megane Sport Tourer and Sport Saloons 1.9 dCi 120, 10 Clio 1.5 dCi and four Scenic 1.9 dCi 120. The vehicles will be used by THE’s field sales team who often travel long distances visiting clients. As well as needing a reliable vehicle which would ensure its field team get where they need to be, image was an important factor in THE’s choice.
The practical yet stylish looks of the Megane Sport Tourer, Megane Sport Saloon, Scenic and Clio help give the right impression to customers and reflect the youthful and modern image of Total Home Entertainment. THE have the capacity to fulfil up to 25,000 orders a day to over 18,000 retail outlets UK and worldwide. With 99.9 per cent delivery accuracy, they pride themselves on reliability and customer satisfaction.
The Renault models were chosen by THE after four months of careful deliberation, comparing manufacturers for safety and comfort. The 1.9dci 120hp Megane Sport Tourer was a particular favourite due to its enhanced fuel economy without any compromise on driving pleasure. Its sophisticated design and extra long wheel base compared to the hatchback means that there is a huge storage capacity and rear passenger room.
Graham Blinkhorn, Transport and Distribution Manager for THE, is responsible for the fleet. He said; “Renault was the ideal choice for THE as there is a wide range of choice to suit our needs. The Megane Sport Tourer is a particular favourite within the Field Sales team with its stylish design and sensational drive.”
“The Field Sales team travel thousands of miles each week and need a reliable and safe vehicle. Renault vehicles are renowned for their safety features, especially as the Megane was the first EuroNCAP crash test five star scorer, just one of the many reasons they were the ultimate choice for THE. “
THE employ more than one thousand people and have been established for more than 30 years. THE is expected to achieve a turnover of more than £300 million this year alone.
