The Renault Megane-Coupe-Cabriolet is a comfortable place to be, the seats are supportive and the cabin design makes it easy to get in and out of the vehicle

Comfort and Refinement

The Renault Megane-Coupe-Cabriolet is a comfortable place to be, the seats are supportive and the cabin design makes it easy to get in and out of the vehicle, even the rear. The front seats have been fitted with a position memory function which means that when they are tipped forward they automatically return to their previous position.

The leather wrapped steering wheel is height and reach adjustable, the drivers seat is height and lumbar adjustable and the front passenger seat is height adjustable.

The Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet Dynamic TomTom 1.9 litre dCi 130 FAP is equipped with the following standard equipment: manual air conditioning, automatic headlights and rain sensing front wipers, keycard hands free automatic opening and closing on approach, electric windows, heated & electric door mirrors, see-me home headlights, fixed wind deflector, cruise control with speed limiter, multi-function trip computer and front fog lights.

Safety and Security

The Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet is equipped with a comprehensive range of active, passive and preventive safety features including automatically deploying roll-over hoops.

Other safety features include seatbelt warning lights, daytime running lights, automatic headlights & windscreen wipers, cruise control with a speed limiter function. ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution, emergency brake assist, ESC (electronic stability control) with ASR (anti-skid regulation) and UCL (understeer logic control). It has a five-star Euro NCAP crash test rating, ISOFIX child seat fixings, a Thatcham category 1 alarm system and an array of airbags including front seat anti-submarining airbags, curtain front and rear airbags, driver and front passenger two stage adaptive airbags, front lateral airbags and deactivation for the front passenger airbag.

Conclusion

We really enjoyed our time with the Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet and the weather was perfect for a drop top road test. As you would expect of Renault build quality was good as was fuel consumption. The panoramic folding roof was smooth and quiet to operate and being fully glazed it means that whatever the weather you still feel in touch with the elements.
