Renault Announces Prices For The New Laguna

Following its international debut at the Amsterdam Motor Show, Renault has announced prices and specification for its all-new 2005 Laguna model, which is available to order now ahead of its official showroom debut on Friday March 18th 2005.
Renault’s ever-popular mid-size Laguna has benefited from a complete make-over with brand new styling, interior, choice of dynamic engines and high quality in both its Hatch and Sport Tourer body styles. New Laguna 2005 has had more than just a simple face-lift, its comprehensive update gives it a fresh, contemporary style both inside and out reinforcing Laguna as a modern vehicle for a modern market.
New Laguna 2005 has dynamic new exterior styling, new dashboard, a range of new Euro IV dCi engines, new safety features including the Renault System for Restraint and Protection (SRP) with eight airbags, and improved quality and reliability. There will also be a new GT205 Turbo model in the Spring with sports chassis.
Value for money, wide choice of engines
Prices for the Hatch start from £15,775 for the Expression 2.0 16V rising to £23,675 for the Initiale 2.2 dCi 150 Auto. The Sport Tourer version starts at £16,775 for the entry level Expression 2.0 16V, with the top price for the high spec Initiale trim at £24,675.
New Laguna 2005 will be launched with a choice of engines. Four Euro IV engines at launch, the 2.0 135 hp manual and automatic, 1.9 dCi 95, the 210 hp V6 24V automatic and 2.0 Turbo 170 hp manual and automatic. Two more Euro IV engines will be added to the range in Spring 2005, the 1.9 dCi 130 and the brand new sports version GT 205 Turbo.
Also available to order now are the 1.9 dCi 120 and 2.2 dCi 150 manual and automatic, both Euro III engines.
