Porsche is presenting innovative drive concepts at the Los Angeles Auto Show - starting on November 16, 2007 - that demonstrate its commitment to alternative power sources, with the highlight being the first appearance in the USA of the Cayenne Hybrid prototype. At the same time, Porsche is also displaying an earlier milestone in automobile development at the show; the electric-drive Lohner-Porsche from over a century ago, one of the world’s first zero emission vehicles and, accordingly, a forerunner of hybrid drive. the full story

The Porsche Cayenne S ‘Transsyberia‘ has been developed to compete in the 2007 Transsyberia Rallye, a gruelling driving challenge that will take contestants from Moscow all the way through Siberia to Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia from 2-17 August 2007. Last year two private teams participated in the Transsyberia Rallye for the first time with the Porsche Cayenne S, finishing first and second in their very first attempt. the full story
