The Peugeot 206 | Part Two

Safety and Security

ABS braking is now available as standard fitment on all S models and above. Only the Style version does not include ABS as standard (option at £300.00). All 2.0 litre petrol models are now fitted with Electronic Stability Program (ESP). Passive Safety is also enhanced with the standard fitment of curtain airbags on all vehicles fitted with side airbags.

The factory fitted alarm on SW and hatchback versions is now Thatcham approved – Category 1 providing class-leading security.

Interior

The internal specification of all versions has been improved by the introduction of upgraded trim and roof lining. These visual improvements are also enhanced by a further reduction in wind and engine noise intrusion, making for an even more luxurious driving experience.

Sports seats are now fitted as standard on the Classic Range and Van and a CD auto-changer, previously mounted in the boot is now moved to the glove box.

The RT3 telematics system previously seen on the 307 and 807 is now available on certain 206 models. The 206 CC can now be specified with the optional Siemens Satellite Navigation system as previously fitted to the 206 hatchback.

For the first time on 206 a JBL Hi Fi option created specifically for the 206 interior, featuring a tri-amplified system with improved acoustics, provides the perfect environment to enjoy those special musical moments.

Free Insurance

Since its launch in 1998, the Peugeot 206 has not only been one of Europe’s most popular small cars, but year on year it has also consistently been Britain’s biggest selling retail car. And with demand remaining as high as ever, the offer of one year’s free insurance is sure to please all those eager to get behind the wheel this autumn.

This insurance offer is available on all 206 models purchased from 1 October 2003 (excluding GTi 180 and CC) and is open to all buyers between 21-80 years of age (25-80 on GTi (138) and XSi models).

NB: Offers in Northern Ireland may vary

With more standard equipment and higher specifications than ever before, the stylish 206 is even better value for money today and is sure to continue as one of Europe’s favourite cars.
