Peugeot is launching its ‘Toy for every child this Christmas’ campaign this week which aims to ensure needy children all over Britain receive a gift on Christmas morning.

BBC Sports presenter John Inverdale helped to ‘kick off’ the charity appeal with Robert Browett, Manager of Public Affairs at Peugeot. The appeal will run in many of Peugeot’s 360 dealerships across the UK over the next two weeks. Each dealership will have a special Christmas Peugeot car designated as a modern day Santa’s sleigh, where customers can leave new or used toys, which will then be distributed to children in the area by a local children’s charity.

Tod Evans, managing director of Peugeot says: "Christmas is a very special time, and we decided after the success of last year’s toy campaign that we would launch a similar appeal. We hope that with the backing of John Inverdale we can help put a smile on even more children’s faces this festive season."

The campaign will run throughout December up to Christmas. For further information and toy donations, visit your nearest participating Peugeot dealer.
