Peugeot’s new car sales increased by 2.88% over sales in January 2003 with retail sales increasing from a 3.9% market share in January 2003 to 4.48% in January 2004.
206 sales increased by 15% in a segment which increased by only 5%. This moved the market share of 206 from 3.58% in 2003 to 3.88% in January 2004.
The combined sales of all 206 versions totalled 7673 which makes 206 the 3rd best selling car in the UK in January 2004.
Peugeot also saw growth in Partner and Boxer LCV sales with Partner sales up 70% in a segment down 11% and Boxer sales up 19% in a segment up only 3.7%.
