Peugeot Announces Product Recall On 206

Peugeot has recently identified a fault
that in very rare circumstances could affect the braking system on
right hand drive 206 models built before February 2002.
For safety reasons, Peugeot has decided to launch a recall campaign of 206 right hand drive models built before that date.
Owners of all affected vehicles are being notified by letter, and invited to make an appointment at any authorised Peugeot service dealer where their vehicle will undergo a simple rectification procedure that involves replacing a clevis pin on the brake pedal.
Vehicles built after February 2002 are not involved.
Peugeot has set up a customer helpline – 0845 60 206 206 – for owners requiring advice or assistance.
The company regrets any inconvenience caused to customers.
