The seven seat vehicle has been used by Silver Knight since March 1996, and apart from standard servicing and MOT, there have been no major problems in its quarter of a million mile marathon.
Used as a company car by site manager, David Fletcher, the 806 has been used in a variety of roles, to take people to and from work, as the transport for teams working on various production projects, as well as for lugging set materials from A to B.
David Fletcher says: "The Peugeot 806 has demonstrated its flexibility, reliability and ease of use over the last five years. With the new 807 on sale this month, we are now considering upgrading the 806 for this even more stylish and practical model. The 807 will be even easier to use because of its electronic sliding doors and its even greater versatility and comfort with the number of seating configurations and load carrying opportunities."
The Peugeot 806 is one of a fleet of 60 vehicles run by the
company, which also includes a Peugeot Boxer van, Mini bus
and three 307s.
