The stunning new Peugeot 407 SW will be in showrooms around the UK this September - with prices from as little as £15,850 on the road.
The 407 saloon has already set the market alight with its bold, purposeful design and great driving dynamics. Now, the SW is set to bring a new, sleek, sporting dimension to the estate car market.
"We believe the 407 SW brings a fresh and exciting approach to the estate car market," says Jon Goodman, marketing director, Peugeot Motor Company. "It proves that versatility and practicality can be combined with fantastic looks and we fully expect this car to appeal to those who might not have considered a traditional estate car in the past."
With four easy price-walks between trim levels, six world-class engines to choose between and fantastic levels of standard and optional equipment, the new Peugeot 407 SW will make perfect sense to any new car buyer looking for a versatile, stylish and practical vehicle.
Available in four trim levels, prices start from £15,850 and rise to £23,350 for the top of the range 3.0-litre petrol V6.
All models have an impressive list of standard equipment including digital climate control, trip computer, CD player, ultrasonic alarm and front fog lights. The comprehensive active safety package features seven airbags (nine on Executive models), ‘active’ front seat head restraints and a second generation electronic stability control system (ESP) that features ABS, electronic brake force distributor (EBFD), emergency brake assist (EBA) and traction control.
Additionally, all SW models feature a panoramic glass roof as standard.
In order to tailor the specification of the car to suit a customer’s specific requirements, a comprehensive list of optional equipment is available, while many items feature as standard on higher specification models. Included among these items are cruise control, rear parking aid, xenon headlights, RT3 telematics/satellite navigation system and leather upholstery. A comfort pack is also available that features electric adjustment of the steering column and driver’s seat with an integrated memory system.Published 2 September 2004
