The new Peugeot 1007 which will be launched on to the UK market next summer, has already picked up two prestigious automotive awards.

The Peugeot 1007 will write a new chapter in the design of small family cars, with its unique front electric sliding doors and class leading modularity and flexibility.

The 1007’s design and its monospace architecture makes the vehicle easy to live with, and its class leading accessibility and flexibility help free owners from the day to day stresses of using a car in an urban environment.

This, however, is not its only strength. Another unique feature is the interchangeable trim which allows an owner to customise the vehicle interior. The 1007 will be a real 'home from home' as the owner can 'decorate' the interior to suit his or her own personal taste. The 'décor' can be chosen from an exciting range of 12 unique designs and colour options.

Thanks to these unique features and, in recognition of its customer focussed innovation, the 1007 has been awarded the Top Gear Magazine 'Small Car of the Year' Award for 2005 and the Autocar 'Idea of the Year' award 2004.

These two prestigious awards are testimony to the car which will go down in history as the vehicle that changed the way we see small family cars.

The Peugeot 1007 will be available in the UK in July 2005.
