The RCZ R is will accelerate from 0-62 mph in sub six-seconds with a top speed limited to 155 mph.
Peugeot are releasing the RCZ R - a performance version of their popular sports coupe, it is due be revealed officially at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2013 and will be on sale early in 2014, with an expected price of around £34,000.
Peugeot RCZ R Engine
The RCZ R is powered by a 270bhp/330Nm version of Peugeot’s 1.6-litre THP turbo gasoline direct injection engine which was jointly developed with BMW and is seen in the likes of the MINI and 208 GTi. Although the RCZ R version code named 'EP6CDTR' is completely modified to handle the extra power and the demands it brings. The RCZ R is will accelerate from 0-62 mph in sub six-seconds with a top speed limited to 155 mph. To ensure that as much power as possible is delivered to the road it is supported by a Torsen differential and a six-speed manual transmission.
On the official combined cycle it is capable of 44.8 mpg and emits CO2 emissions of 145g/km.
Peugeot RCZ R Tyres Suspension
The RCZ R rides on Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 235/40 R19 tyres – and there is new suspension set-up featuring new dampers, stiffer springs and anti-roll bar. The brakes have been up-rated and featuring 380mm discs – with a tested 80mph to zero of less than 61 metres
Peugeot RCZ R Design
The RCZ R will feature new sports seats with a blend of full grain Nappa leather and black Alcantara and branded with the monogram ‘R. There are Xenon projector headlamps and a full multimedia system WIP (World of Peugeot) Nav Plus system.
Peugeot RCZ R Colour Choice
There will be four colours: Moroccan Red, Nera Black, Mercury Grey and Opal White with a range of custom made satin or gloss carbon roof treatments, decal designs and black mirror shells.Published 10 July 2013
