Peugeot has announced the new Peugeot 508 RXH, which follows in the footsteps of the 508 saloon and SW.

The new Peugeot 508 RXH is more refined, higher and wider than the Peugeot 508 SW and features vertical "lion claw" style LED lights for both day and night driving and a 'floating' grille to provide a striking appearance.

The interior of the new Peugeot 508 RXH features luxurious materials alongside head up display, electric front seats and the latest generation audio and satellite navigation unit.

Peugeot's Open & Go keyless system and 18 inch wheels are also included as standard. Power is provided with a 2.0 litre HDi HYbrid4 drive train which offers 200bhp four wheel drive and 450Nm of torque. The engine can be operated in 100% electric mode with zero emissions , On the combined cycle, fuel consumption is 67.2mpg and CO2 emissions are 109g/km.

The Peugeot 508 RXH will be unveiled at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in September 2011 before going on sale in Spring 2012.
