Peugeot 407 Coupe
What We Liked
- The engine / gearbox
- The styling
- Performance / ride & handling
- High level of standard equipment, including the telematics system
What We Disliked
- The plastic centre console surrounding the telematics system
What We'd Like To See
- Wouldn’t it be great if you could access / answer emails / internet via the telematics system
- Better quality interior plastics
Build Quality
Overall no problems at all, materials are up to the job and everything seemed well screwed together.
Value For Money
All Peugeot 407’s including the Coupe receive a 3 year / 60,000 mile warranty (which ever is soonest).
The 407 Coupe is very well equipped and is keenly priced - especially considering the standard equipment and refinements. Our test car cost £24,820 without some of the extras but that does include the Satellite Navigation system and the hard drive music system.
Overall Opinion
The Peugeot 407 Coupe faces ferocious competition from the likes of the BMW 3 Series Coupe and Mercedes Benz CLK-Class Coupe or maybe even Mazda’s legendary RX-8. Badge snobs may have a problem with the French label but overall we were left very impressed by the Peugeot 407 Coupe it deserves to be tested as we are sure that you will be surprised - it is quite capable of holding it own against the competition.
