With its great versatility and stylish design, the 207 SW priced from only £11,340 is sure to continue the 207 success story.
With over 58,000 207s already on UK roads and the 207 being the best selling car in Europe (May 2007), the 207 SW now joins this success story.
A true Peugeot SW with its full length “Cielo” glass panoramic roof and an innovative rear seat folding mechanism, the 207 SW will appeal to customers with a “full and active lifestyle”.
Sharing the same wheelbase as the 207 five door hatchback but with an increased length of 119 mm and 38 mm extra height, the 207 SW provides more rear headroom and interior space. This extra length also creates a larger rear load space of 428 litres (310 litres for the 207 Hatchback) and with the rear seats folded, 1433 litres.
It will be available at launch with four engine options: two HDi diesels, 1.6 litre 90 bhp and 1.6 litre 110 bhp and two petrol engines developed as part of the co-operation with the BMW group. The first petrol engine option is an all new 1.4 litre VTi* 95 bhp engine and the second the current 1.6 litre VTi 120 bhp engine found in the 207 CC and 207 hatchback ranges.
All the engines will be fitted with a manual five speed gearbox with ratios selected to match the individual engine characteristics. The 1.6 litre VTi 120 bhp petrol engine is also available with an automatic gearbox.
*VTi - Variable Timing and injection
The 207 SW will be available in two trim levels, S and Sport.
