With a great heritage in motor sport, culminating in three consecutive World Rally Car Championships, a new star of the 206 range is born, the Peugeot 206 Sport.
With Peugeot’s legendary motor sport DNA running through its veins the Peugeot 206 Sport will put the fun back into sporty, and is aimed at drivers who want a car with a sporty appearance, and that will also be economical to run.
Based on the 206 S, the 206 Sport benefits from the standard fitment of fog lights, digital air-conditioning with climate control, alloy wheels, body coloured side rubbing strips / bumper inserts and sports bumpers.
Two body styles - three and five door - are available, with two petrol engines and one diesel engine option.
Petrol engines comprise a 1.1 litre 8v petrol engine which produces 60 bhp and has a top speed of 98 mph, and a 1.4 litre 16v petrol engine producing 90 bhp.
Sporty diesels have long been part of the Peugeot range since the introduction of the 205 and the 206 Sport is no exception. Available with Peugeot’s legendary 2.0 litre HDi diesel engine producing 90 bhp and, with the fitment of 15" alloy wheels, sports front wings and sports suspension, this car builds on the reputation of Peugeot’s diesel turbo models of old.
To make this car stand out from the crowd, four stunning colours are available: Flamenco Red, Aluminium and Onyx Black, fitted with a Red Zagros cloth interior and Aegean Blue fitted with a Blue Zagros cloth interior.
Prices start from £8995 for a 206 Sport 1.1 three door petrol and rise to £11,295 for the 2.0 litre HDi five door version.
