How It Looks - Exterior
The exterior styling of the 307 CC is a work of automotive art which will remain a design classic. It is an elegant Coupe with its roof up and a graceful cabriolet with its roof down.
The rear lights need a special mention - the clear lens headlamps with integral fog lamps are based on the 307 hatchback model but the rear lights are original and spectacular with their light emitting diode (LED) technology and futuristic appearance.
The rear light lenses have a metallic finish covered by a red lacquer that is derived from the world of 'cosmetics' and contributes to the jewel effect. Four diagonal strips each with 20 light emitting diodes (LEDs) make up the rear lights. The reversing lights, fog lamp and direction indicators are housed behind the same rear light lense and use conventional bulbs, but still have a 'diode effect' in their optical appearance. The 700 mm long third brake light is also comprised of 32 light emitting diodes (LEDs). In total there are 112 light emitting diodes (LEDs) to indicate the presence of the 307 CC when viewed from the rear.
How It Looks - Interior
The 307 CC 2.0 litre (180 bhp) comes with a plain 'titanium' black/grey finish, giving a high-tech and sporty feel, which features half-leather/half-3D mesh seats enhanced by an original metallic strip in the centre of the seat back and a black fascia panel.
We liked the interior of the car, it was simple and plain - the white dials worked well, and the titanium inserts compliment the exterior of the car.
In Car Entertainment and Satellite Navigation
Firstly we liked the fact that the radio aerial is totally invisible
and is incorporated in the rear spoiler and doesn't detract from
the car's beauty . The 2.0 (180bhp) model has a 5 x CD auto-changer
as standard - steering wheel mounted controls keep your hands where
they belong safely on the wheel.
The sound quality is in keeping with it peers.

What We Liked
- The beautiful exterior styling
- The cleverly executed roof mechanism
- High level of standard safety equipment
- Automatic rain-sensing windscreen wipers
- Automatic headlights
What We Disliked
- Could be a little bit more dynamic on the road, but far from poor
- The seat adjustment features a lever to adjust the recline and
we found it difficult to get the seat recline correct. A dial
adjustment would be much easier to use.
What We'd Like To See
- Xenon headlights as standard on the 307 CC 2.0 16v 180 Sport model
- Remote closure for the roof mechanism and one touch opening and closing
- Heated seats
