Build Quality

Bearing in mind the price of the Kelisa build quality is good. The metal/plastics used are on the cheaper side but money has to be saved somewhere and this does not detract from the Kelisa's all round appeal as a budget car.

Value For Money

According to CAP independent research the Kelisa is the cheapest car to run over 3-years/60,000 miles. This takes into account purchase price, running costs & depreciation and works out at 14 pence per mile. The Kelisa also benefits from a low level of VED (vehicle excise duty), group 3A insurance and superb fuel economy.

The Kelisa EX is excellent value for money at £4999. The entry level EX model is basic but then it is Britain's least expensive new car to own and run.

Overall Opinion

In our opinion the Kelisa is underrated, in its entry level guise it may not have the luxuries of more expensive cars but it is a cheap car. From a safety and convenience point of view we would like to see ABS and central locking as standard but increasing the specification would inevitably increase the price.

I can't put my finger on precisely why but the Kelisa is good fun to drive I can only assume it is its 'back to basics' appeal. Around town this is one of the best cars we've driven and if that is what you are looking for in a car then we would no hesitation in recommending it.
