Perodua Develops Network With Five Year Agreement
Published: 15th December 2003
Kelisa is now established as Britain’s most affordable super mini, remaining at the top of the low running cost league tables* and showing a year on year increase in sales. A marginal drop in overall sales during the early part of the year was due to the lack of availability of Kenari owing to a model change. Since August, however, the launch of new look Kenari has rectified this situation.
Tim Slaughter, Perodua’s managing director, says: "We can now move the franchise forward with confidence and aim to improve sales into 2004 with the addition of these quality dealer appointments".
Perodua is continuing to recruit new dealers and has recently filled key open points in the Perodua dealer network. Newly appointed dealers include: Grovebury Cars in Leighton Buzzard, Maufant Garage in Jersey, T & M Motors in Oldham, Henley Heritage in Henley-on-Thames and Berrybrook Motors in Exminster. These prime sites fall in areas which will allow new customers to discover the Perodua range as well as providing flexibility for current owners with regard to servicing.
Dealer principal at Henley Heritage, Adrian Doman, says: "Perodua cars are perfect for local driving conditions and will help us develop our business within the local community".
These exciting developments will help Perodua progress into the New Year.
